Google launched Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G during its ‘Launch Night In’ event. The news was
leak before this event. However, now the official pricing, information about specifications, and new Google phones available officially now. The all-new Pixel 5 is different in
comparison to previous-generation Pixel smartphones. A 5G variant Pixel 4a 5G launched
earlier in August, but now it comes with a few changes over the 4G one.
Google Pixel 5
It runs on Android 11, powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoCs with 6GB
of LPDDR4 RAM. A 6-inch full-HD+(1,080×2,340 pixels) OLED display and weight of 151
grams makes it very handy. It has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio with a 90Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
It has all new punch-hole camera upfront with good looks and no forehead or chin. It also features wireless charging and also, reverse wireless charging. Pixel 5 comes with 16MP ultra-wide angle lens and 12.2MP primary rear camera with OIS and EIS. And 8MP selfie shooter. One more added feature by google is the Night Sight mode to portrait mode. It has 128Gb storage and a 4,080mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Also, it supports both sub-6GHz and mmWave 5G networks.
Google Pixel5 starts at $699, which will be Rs. 51,400(approx.) and will be available from
October 15 in the US with Black and Sorta Sage color options.
Pixel 4A 5G
Google launched the 5G variant of Pixel 4A, with more new features as compared to the old model of Pixel 4A. It also runs on Android 11 powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoCs with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It has a 6.2-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. Also, It has a lower quality Glass, the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection as compared to Pixel 5.
The set-up of Pixel 4A 5G includes a 12.2 MP primary camera and 16 MP secondary ultra-wide angle lens. Whereas, for a selfie, it has an 8MP lens. It has non-expandable 128GB of storage and a 3,885mAh battery with 18W fast charging. And it weighs 168 grams. The new variant 5G of Google Pixel 4a starts at $499, which will be Rs. 37,000(approx.) in India. It will start its first sale in Japan on October 15.
