MIUI 11 is Rumoured to Launch on 24th September

Popular tipster @Xiaomishka, has claimed that MI MIX 4 is expected to be launched on September 24 by Xiaomi. In a blog posted on their official page, they also mentioned that the company is rumoured to launch MIUI 11. Along with that the company will also unveil the upcoming Mi 9S 5G smartphone, all on the same day. According to @Xiaomishka, they have collected the information from their contacts in China. But as far as the company is concerned, they are yet to confirm these news.

The new MIUI 11 is reported to be based on Android 10 which is formerly known as Android Q. According to a previous tweet from the Tipster, the company will roll out many devices, including the Mi 9, Mi 9 SE, Mi 9 explorer edition, Redmi K20, K20 Pro, Mi MIX 3 and more. @Xiaomishka also states that the update will roll out to a whole bunch of other devices which will include the Redmi Note-7 series. However, that will be a part of the second batch.

For those who do not know Xiaomi was testing MIUI 11 for the last several months. The beta version of the software is already available to a number of devices. The general manager and the product director have revealed that the new software will introduce some new changes. For example, there will be less ads and increased system stability. This is a part of the company’s plans to improve your user experience.

The company is also said to be looking at streamlining the software by eliminating some of the bloat it has accumulated over the years. There are rumours that Xiaomi is planning to introduce a Google Duplex-style calling feature. This will allow its AI assistant to answer phone calls for users.

Other than that, there are no more information available on the software. The company haven’t announced any new feature that are likely to make t heir debut in MIUI 11. However, we are expecting that the new changes incorporated in the software will enhance the overall experience of the users. In other words, the new software is going to be more sophisticated than its predecessors.
