The iPhone12 now finally will be launched on October 13. Due to delays in production and supply because of the Covid-19 pandemic canceled the launch in September. The event will be beamed virtually from the Steve Jobs Theater on Tuesday. Apple in its September launch unveiled the new Apple Watch Series 6 and SE and iPad Air instead of iPhone 12.
The launch date is on October 13 at 10 am PDT(10:30 pm IST). Along with iPhone 12, over-ear headphones, and Apple TV streaming box, a smaller HomePod smart speaker, and a Tile-like location tracker are also likely to be launched. The company unveiled the launch date with the cryptic tag line “Hi, Speed”. This mysterious line hints towards 5G, the faster A14 processor, with all new phones, better camera updates, and a smaller notch. Apple may release four new iPhone models which will include 5.4-inch iPhone 12, 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Max and, 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro.
The new phone iPhone 12 feature a 5.5-inch LCD screen. It will run on iOS 14 and comes with Apple A13 Bionic chipset. The phone may come with TouchID to unlock. It may come with
12MP selfie camera at the front, 12MP primary camera, and a 12MP telephoto lens at the rear. The battery backup is not known yet but will have upgraded and bigger battery as
compared to Apple iPhone11. The all-new iPhone 12 can come in two storage variants – 64GB and 128GB. Also, rumors are that it will come with flat edges and a smaller chin. This
smartphone may be the company’s first-ever device to support 5G. . The Pro lineups may include all new LiDAR sensors which would give 3D dept mapping capabilities. The news revealed by Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo says that iPhone 12 won’t come with super-fast 120Hz refresh rate support. Although, the company will disclose all the features on the launch date,
scheduled on October 13.
